We designed our 75 mm Carbo AirBlocks® for speed. Made of high-strength engineering plastics, the single weighs in at a very light 6.9 oz (195 grams)—including the shackle. Doubles and triples aren't much more! The strength-to-weight ratio on these blocks is extremely high. They are the first all-plastic blocks with a safe working load of 1,200 Ibs.
Because of their large-diameter sheaves and fitted ball races, 75 mm Carbos release easily under load, and are worth their weight in seconds during jibes and mark roundings. They are perfect for mainsheet systems on sport boats like Melges 24s, J/105s and Henderson 30s.
