These blocks represent the first major development in small boat block design since we introduced the first plastic ball bearing blocks in 1967. High strength engineering plastic used in the sideplates, sheave and balls allows us to make blocks 60% stronger and 30% lighter than our classic blocks.

Use Carbo AirBlocks with small diameter hi-tech lines on high performance dinghies, small keelboats and catamarans. The 40 mm blocks handle loads similar to our 2.25''(57 mm) blocks and the 57 mm blocks can take loads similar to our 3.00''(76 mm) blocks.

Some 57 mm blocks feature "Cam-Lock", a unique swivel pin locking device that allows the jaw to lock at ninety degree intervals, or to swivel freely.

Another Harken First! The patent-pending Ti-Lite block is a new concept in block attachment. Using small, high strength Spectra line, attach these blocks to eyes taps, booms, fiberglass side tanks, and traveler cars, and stand-up springs. A comprehensive instruction manual details the many methods of attaching the blocks.

	1. Patented Cam-Lock - The patented Ñam-Lock switch allows the swivel to lock in front or side positions, or to swivel freely.
	2. Reversible Cam Arms - Reverse cam cleats on single blocks for up or down release
	3. Removable Becket - On many blocks you can Becket to attach a spliced line, (not available on 40 mm blocks.)
	4. Fitted Ball Races - More ball contact provides higher load capacity.
	5. U-Lock - Double and triple blocks use the U-Lock to hold the shackle in front or side position. Remove and block swivels freely.
