System-A Battcars are designed for boats from 27' to 48' (8 m -15 m). The 1944 can be used with either flat or round battens. Use the 1807 headboard assembly with existing headboards. The 1977 will accept the Rutgerson batten tensioners with their universal joint fittings. System-A high-load cars are equipped with aluminum end caps and Torlon balls.

Mast Cross Section
1803 Fits flat mast grooves with a 5/16" (8 mm) gap or greater but less than 7/16" (11 mm).
1823 Fits flat mast grooves with a 7/16" (11 mm) gap or greater but less than 5/8" (16 mm).
